What The Hell Am I Doing

I am crossing things off my to do list like you would if you crossed things off your to do list with a sword. Like Inigo Montoya crossing things off his to do list with his sword:

  • Take bike in for tune-up. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
  • Brow appointment. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
  • Calculate calories. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
  • Resize doodles. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
  • Order contact lenses. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
  • Shop for clothes: black sweater, black no-show socks. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
  • Surger t-shirts. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
  • Organize red dresser. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
  • Order sugar wheels and gladiator knee gaskets. My name is Inigo Montoya...

The idea is, I cross every last thing off my to do list before my LA trip & then I have nothing to do but write when I get back. It occurs to me that my to do list is the six-fingered man. It always has that extra thing going on:

  • Now that I have my bike tuned up, I should ask my landlord if I can park it in the basement. So I don't always have to be asking pit crew to take off the front wheel and put it back on, and then I can ride it to work.
  • Or I need to get rid of this kitchen table, so I can park my bike in the kitchen like I used to.
  • Also I need to sort through my black leggings and separate the holey ones to wear for skating and the okay ones to wear for riding my bike to work.
  • And then I need some new black leggings.
  • And I need a few more a-line dresses or skirts for riding my bike to work.
  • MUST clean old bones to put in sugar wheels.
  • Should have borrowed Shannana's bearing press...

Oh and, PACK FOR LA TRIP.

Oh and, blog about some of the above:

  • Take pics of t-shirt surgeries

Maybe it will work out like I was thinking, I'll have nothing to do but write when I get back. I actually am thinking that I'll be writing less blog and more screenplay. I have my next Idea, which I haven't had time to blog about. Probably shouldn't blog about.

But maybe also, I think I'm not on a break. Like this is, this could be a normal life. I should add that I'm having a terrific time. Basically Thursday through Monday I'm out skating or with friends or skating with friends, like my life is a machine that makes fun & then I'm in two days to work on the machine like a fun machine mechanic. If I'm writing those two days when I get back, will the machine work on its own?
